Just like us, their heroes made friends, argued with their parents, fell in love, and broke up. Time flies, and our television friends have grown up. Many of them have created amazing acting careers and started families of their own.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager, 2008-2013

Shailene Woodley

Shailene is actively taking part in film and television projects as an actress and a producer. Her latest films are Adrift (2018) and Endings, Beginnings (2019) and she also plays the main role in the TV drama Big Little Lies.

Francia Raisa

After playing one of the leading roles in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Francia took part in projects like Once Upon a Date (2017), Grown-ish (2018 — present) and Life-Size 2 (2018). In 2017, Francia made headlines when she donated a kidney to her friend Selena Gomez who is fighting lupus.

Daren Kagasoff

His role in The Secret Life of the American Teenager made Daren famous and gave him several Teen Choice Awards nominations (he won one of them). After the show he took part in Ouija (2014), Stalker (2014), Red Band Society (2014-2015), S.W.A.T. (2017), and The Village (2019).

Megan Park

Megan Park had many other roles in her acting career after starring in The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She got roles in projects like The F Word (2013), Room (2015), and Dog Days (2018). She also acted in The Lottery (2014), My Christmas Love (2016), Once Upon a Prince (2018), and A Christmas Wish (2019). In 2015 Megan married actor and singer Tyler Hilton.

Make It or Break It, 2009-2012

Cassie Scerbo

After Make It or Break It, Cassie took part in a bunch of films and TV projects, including starring in Not Today (2013), Take a Chance (2015), the sci-fi disaster television film Sharknado (2013, 2015, 2017, 2018), and Grand Hotel (2019).

Ayla Kell

Since 2013, Ayla has starred in several films and TV shows, including Rosemont (2015), Walt Before Mickey (2015), and Melissa & Joey (2015). Apart from her acting career, Ayla is a professional dancer: she studied for 15 years at the Royal Academy of Dance. She got engaged to actor Sterling Knight in 2018.

Chelsea Hobbs

Chelsea Hobbs has an impressive filmography and she’s participated in numerous projects both before and after Make It or Break It. Her recent works are UnREAL (2018), Killer Ending (2018), and Mr. 365 (2018). From 2007 to 2014 Chelsea was married to photographer Terren Oddo. She has a son and a daughter. In January 2020, Chelsea married actor James Neate and she’s expecting a baby boy to arrive soon.

Veronica Mars, 2004-2019

Kristen Bell

Apart from playing Veronica Mars in one of the most popular teenage dramas, Kristen Bell has made an outstanding movie and television career, taking part in many projects. She’s an actress, a producer, and a voice in animated movies. Here are some of her popular works: Burlesque (2010), Scream 4 (2011), Frozen (2013), Zootopia (2016), Bad Moms (2016), and Frozen II (2019). Kristen has been married to Dax Shepard since 2013, and the couple has 2 daughters.

Jason Dohring

Jason starred in Veronica Mars from 2004 until 2007, and after that he went on to play in the TV drama Moonlight (2007-2008). He also appeared in the movies Searching for Sonny (2011), and The Squeeze (2015) and the TV shows Ringer (2011-2012), The Messengers (2015), and The Originals (2015-2017). Jason is married and has 4 children.

Gossip Girl, 2007-2012

Blake Lively

After Gossip Girl we saw Blake in movies like The Age of Adaline (2015), The Shallows (2016), All I See Is You (2017), and A Simple Favor (2018). Blake is married to actor Ryan Reynolds and together they are raising 3 daughters.

Leighton Meester

Since Gossip Girl ended, Leighton starred in the films Life Partners (2014), The Judge (2014), and Semper Fi (2019) and we also saw her in TV shows like Making History (2017) and Single Parents (2018-present). Leighton is married to actor Adam Brody and they have a daughter.

Chace Crawford

If you’ve been keeping track of Chace Crawford’s career, you’ve surely seen him in movies like I Do… Until I Don’t (2017), All About Nina (2018), and Charlie Says (2018) and in TV shows like Blood & Oil (2015) and The Boys (2019) where he played the leading roles.

Ed Westwick

Mischa Barton

Adam Brody

The latest movie and television works by Adam are StartUp (2016-2018), Ready or Not (2019), Single Parents (2019), and Curfew (2019). Together with his wife Leighton Meester, Adam is raising a daughter.
